Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope your week is going well so far. Here at Jenerations we are in the thick of our busy season. It’s an exciting time. We meet a lot of amazing people and see a lot of gorgeous lingerie. So often, women want to know what to bring and what flatters the body the most. For this “Wear it Wednesday” we are going to focus on bustiers and corsets.

Bustiers and corsets have an amazing way of showing of a woman’s curves, while happily covering some of our trouble areas. They are flattering to pretty much everyone. (Breathing is optional!) lol.

Because your shape will be so va va voom in these items, we tend to like more simple corsets. Less is definitely more. Take a simple black corset….add jewelry, or gloves, or even a bird cage veil and boom…classic, and gorgeous every time! Here are some that we love!!

Happy Shopping Everyone!!
Have a Sexy Day,

Jen

  • Lisa Otto - Less is always more, in anything really :) Never want to take away from the focus of the shot and you nail it every time.ReplyCancel

  • Wendy Cunningham - Girl your shots continue to amaze me. I love your use of lighting for dramatic umph!ReplyCancel

Today was SUCH a fun day! Debra, the winner of our New Year, New You contest had her makeover today! We started the day by shopping at Azure Lingerie in Bayside. What a fun store. There were so many things to choose from!

They just opened another location in Bellmore…so if you are out in Nassau check them out. We have some coupons, so if you want some drop us a line!

This is their Bayside location:

Diana liked this lil’ number…now if I could only get her to do a shoot!!

While at Azure, our game plans was to look for 2 looks that flattered Debra, and yet gave us a totally different feel. (This is a good idea for your shoot as well.) Debra is getting married in the fall, so we thought one bridal look would be a good idea and maybe something a little edgier would be fun too. Once we picked out what we wanted, we went back to the studio and Debra had her hair and makeup done. Tara and Diana worked their magic as usual…check out how cute they all are. (Love that Tara is wearing our “Have a Sexy Day” tank!)

After hair and makeup, it was game time. Debra and I went up to the studio and started shooting. She was so fun to work with, and really let us do whatever we thought would be best. Here is a before and after:

I feel so blessed that I had the chance to work with Debra. She is a great mom to two small kids. Someone who doesn’t normally take time out for herself. She deserves to feel and look beautiful, and I am sure her Fiance would agree. Debra, enjoy the photos and best of luck at your wedding!

Don’t forget to leave Debra (and us!) some love below. (Sharing is Caring!)

Have a Sexy Day,
Jen

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today is an exciting day. It’s the official launch of our new and approved blog. Believe it or not, this blog took hours and hours to get up and running. It couldn’t have been possible without the love and affection (and lots of hand holding) from my friend Nooreen. Nooreen is an amazing photographer and an inspiration. She has an amazing story of how she got into photography and I hope she is going to share it with everyone one day soon (Hint Hint Nooreen). You guys can check out her site here: NandCPhotography

Since we are making the transition from an old blog to a new one, I thought it only appropriate that our first post should be all about transitions.

Potential clients are always asking us about the women on our website. They ask if we use models, or if we compensate the people we feature in any way. The answer is NO. All of the photos on our site are clients that used us for their boudoir photos. They paid US to get the photos, and they were generous enough to let us use them on our site. The next question is get is, “Can you make me look like that?”. The answer to that one is a big YES!

Here are some recent transitions of a few of our clients. Of course they were gorgeous to begin with, but look at what happens when you add in some professional hair, makeup and photography. They transition into BOMBSHELLS!

Jennifer was an amazing client. She sat back and let us do what we do best. She just went with the flow and worked it like a hottie!

These photos show Jill before, after makeup/hair, and after. We just love the red on her!

Jenna has the most beautiful eyes, we just knew we had to get her in front of the black backdrop and let the lights do their magic on her.

We love this shot of Julie, it shows off her gorgeous makeup and her rockin’ body.

I hope you enjoyed the transitions as much as we enjoy them (yes, we take pride in our work!) Thanks to Tara (hair) and Diana (makeup) for their amazing work! We look forward to sharing more with you in the future.

Have a Sexy Day,
Jen

ps….Don’t forget to subscribe to our blog…and Sharing is Caring!!

  • Wendy Cunningham - I have to tell you that I am inspired by your work. I’ve spent a lot of time looking at what you put out there, and I love it. I have done a few boudoir sessions in the past, and they very quickly became uncomfortable for me once the client felt a little more comfortable with me. But looking at your work, I think that what you do is beautiful and empowering for women. And I am considering the possibility of offering them to my brides. Don’t be surprised if I ask you for advice. LOL :)ReplyCancel
